hey guys!

well i just got back from signing a lease for an apartment for next year. yay! i'll be rooming with r2d2smurf. anyway, it's a really nice place for $580 a month, which i shall split so about $290 plus electric. i'm super excited! we also stopped at Olive Garden for lunch and Borders to buy Northanger Abbey... i haven't started reading it yet for bookring... i'm a horrible lj-er... [don't tell glassnowdrop!] I also got Buffy Omnibus 1, which i'm super pumped for.

I'm trying to clean my room right now and failing obviously because i'm writing this. i'm having a backyard bbq and campout type thing for my 21st on the 13th so i need to get to the cleaning. but it's been raining all day so no yard work can be accomplished. sadly i have to work tomorrow [july 4th] :[ booo.

when i signed on to lj today to my surprise i had 5 new user pic spots! what!? color me flabbergasted. wonder how that happened.

OH yeah, i promised you a funny story involving cake...

well we couldn't of messed this cake up anymore. so first we ran out of eggs so it was one egg short, then when we were goign to bake it the oven turned off half way through... we didn't notice at first. so we cooked it until it looked done. and when it came out of the pans it stuck to the bottom and ended up looking like:

:[ but oh no this would not stop me from finishing the cake. so i proceed to ice the sides in hopes that that would help hold it up... nope. but i tried my hardest and hence used up all the icing :[

but then i decided to border it with with redi-whip because honestly why the hell not. i then continuted to write on it... again, why not? at this point my mother and i are on the floor laughing at the ridiculousness of this cake.

i think it looks pretty decent. so we let it sit in the fridge until after dinner.

when i are done and decide to have a nice dessert this is what we found

mhm it melted. damn this cake. but let me tell you it was delicous! the flavor was orange dreamsicle, i think we should send these pictures to betty crocker...

Well I think I have waited long enough. I've been staying up to see if my boss is going to email me as to whether or not I can come in this morning. Hmmmm I don't think it's happening... it's almost 5 in the morning, I might as well go to sleep.

ho hum.

I have way too much to do lately. Lots of final projects are starting to pile up. I think I just need to sit down and go through everything is a nice orderly fashion and figure what needs to be done first.

I desperately needed to go grocery shopping, but it didn't quite work out, so I bought a few essentials at walmart. I should have known. I bought some cheese to make sandwiches. Now I have a stomach-ache. Not cool. No more buying food at walmart for me.

I'm sitting here looking at the collage I started but never finished. It's made me think about why I always seem to make collages. I seriously have made about 10 during the course of my life, of just pictures that inspire me. I can remember almost all of them very clearly. I think it just how my brain works, a bunch of cool pictures and colors mixed together and every once a while some thing bumps into something else and i get really inspired. i don't think a collage is ever finished, if I could I would make a whole room, and add things when i find them. A never ending mix of images.

Well this has been an rough week. but since I'm skipping both of my classes today it's a short one.

On Wednesday I had a mock interview, which was taped. I've been putting off watching it, because I know I'm not going to be happy. I finally put the tape in... not good. We had to watch the whole thing to do the evaluation or I would have turned it off. I don't think I'm generally that bad looking, I mean I can wake up and look in the mirror and be happy. But damn, this video was horrible! I don't get it. It was like the worst of the worst, something needs to be done.

Anyway. I finished the icons I wanted to, and posted them, so I think I'm done for today. I think I'll draw some flats for my Fashion Project and then be done with it.

Helloz,

It's snowing again! I friggin love snow. The weather here is on crack, basically every time the snow gets a chance to melt and we see a little grass, we get 6in. I'm not complaining because the snow is so pretty and muddy grass is less pretty.

I'm pulling another all-nighter, trying to get back on schedule for school [I've been on spring break]. When 11 rolls around I'm off to Starbucks with Holly, then back home to do laundry and possibly do some work on my new CAD project. I'm actually pretty excited about this project. You get to design your own line, which is fun. It's not quite a whole line because we're only concerned with things you do in CAD like flats, plaids and patterns, but I'm still pretty pumped and I'll keep you updated :]

hello everyone :]

spent most of today watching CSI on Fanpop.com. that site rocks my world.

I'm pretty friggin' pumped for LOST tomorrow!

Alright so i have this idea, and i'm wondering what you think.
i think i want to start a photo blog. you know that meme some people had about taking a picture everyday for a year? well i think that would be really beneficial. so i want to know if I should start a separate photo blog for myself OR just post them along with entries in here... would that be annoying?

since i've already had two computer applications classes... i'm pretty well versed of the basics of microsoft office... this is why i feel the need to make hideous files. lucky for you all i've screencapped then for your enjoyment

i have the worst insomnia ever. it's really becoming a habit to just not sleep for two days, then crash hard and wake up 14 hours later. i wish i could sleep like any normal person but i have been really sucking at the normal person shit lately. Thankfully somehow i have been able to submit all my course work. but any day now i'm gonna slip up and miss something big.

but indulging in some lighter fare... i have been catching up on all my magazine subscriptions and my internet news sites. it's nice taking a semester off from work. but i know i'm going to have to go back soon, and i'm dreading it.

i had a lovely picnic yesterday considering that it's still pretty cold here. got my ass kicked in pool and air hockey.

these last two months have been pretty shitty. maybe they'll start to get better soon, it's been to long.

NEW LAYOUT, CHECK IT brooke70 , please...

I've been in a rut lately. the things i used to do, i no longer do. this new routine is so unfamiliar i can't quite decide if it's a good thing or not.

Went home again this weekend, it was a nice escape. cleaned out the fish tank, and played with my little peppie. besides that not much going on.

my dad's birthday is coming up and he's planning one of those murder mystery games. it seems like it'll be a lot of fun. plus i get to fake a british accent the whole night, which is super fun.

i put up a new pretty myspace layout! so if you are friends with me there you should go check it out. if your not... why arn't you!?
